WHAT IS GOLD VERMEIL?
Gold Vermeil (pronounced ‘ver-may’), is a premium plating technique which uses a 925 sterling silver base and a thick 14k gold layer of 2.5 microns for long-lasting colour and shine. For a more in-depth explanation of these terms, check out our blog post.
I have had this ring now for at least 2 months and worn it every day, I hardly take it off and the gold plating isn’t even starting to wear off yet. I’m sooo pleasantly surprised at the quality of the jewellery from this brand, I have paid much more for gold plated rings before from other brands in which the gold plating has started to come off as early as a week in. I absolutely love the style of the ring too. Yay yay yay thank you!
